All right, fediverse folks. I can't hold this one in any longer. Coming tomorrow to the front page of CoffeeGeek.com, our first take on Hario's latest brewer: the Hario Suiren! It's so new, it's not even for sale yet in North America. We got three variants in, direct from Japan. Tomorrow, you'll find out more about this brewer. But for now, some photos!

After breaking my Hario v60 coffee glass (it had a good run after several more short-lived v60 glasses), I opted for replace it with a plastic double-walled Tervis mug. My early impressions were positive and it is still working very nicely for me. I need to test its outdoor lid on a walk.

The New Leaf Journal · Breaking My Hario v60 Coffee GlassI mourn the breaking of my 15 oz Hario v60 coffee glass and discuss replacing it with a 15 oz Tervis double-walled drink tumbler.

One of the things on my very long to-do list (well over 18 months now) is to get the Hario Mugen / Switch Hack How To up on CoffeeGeek. Inspired by Lance Hedrick's "Percolative Immersion" YT video from 3 years ago, it has long become one of my favourite ways to do pour over.

Finally did the principle photography today for it. The How To is all written up. With luck, should be on the site tomorrow.

Every single day it seems, we have one or two new pieces of content on CoffeeGeek! Not sure how long I can keep this up, but as long as my blog contributors are willing, we're doing it!

Like this lovely article from Allison, posted earlier today. Her love letter to the Hario V60.

CoffeeGeek · Hario V60 - A Brew-tiful Journey!Basically a love letter to the Hario V60, CoffeeGeek's Allison Gainey talks about her fascination with this world famous pour over coffee brewer.

I also own over 100 siphon coffee makers. It might be closer to 125 these days, as I bought another 10 or so in the last year.

One of my more rare ones is a Hario "O'share" tulip model from the 1970s. Still New Old Stock (I never brewed with it).

The rarest of all that I own is most of a 1919 vintage Silex. It's in rough shape, but is a copper finish model, with a crack in the siphon tube.

Here's the Hario.
